We hope to never need to resort to the “small print” but here it is, just in case, so that both parties know exactly where we stand!
Definitions
“We”, “us” or “the company” means Woods Interiors Ltd, a company registered in England.
“You”, “the customer” or “the buyer” means the person, company or entity contracting to purchase the goods.
“The goods” are the items that you order from us as specified by our order acknowledgement and on our invoice.
Order Acceptance
We can receive orders via the company’s web site, by phone or e-mail using the contact methods published on our web site or in other publicity materials. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders or to require additional confirmation at our discretion. We acknowledge receipt of your orders via an appropriate communication: For example, web-based orders are acknowledged automatically by e-mail, telephone orders are acknowledged verbally at time of order. Orders placed by telephone are accepted when the order is placed and a contract of sale then exists between us and you from that time. If orders are placed by via our web site, no contract exists between you and the company until our official invoice or order conformation has been issued.
Refunds
If we acknowledge an order but, for some reason outside our control, we are unable to complete the transaction within 30 days then any payment made will be refunded immediately if you ask us to do so. Refunds due against returned goods will be paid as soon as the returned goods are received by us, subject to the goods being received in unused, undamaged condition in their original packaging.
Pricing
We endeavour to ensure that all published prices are correct, however we reserve the right to change prices without notice and not to accept orders at prices that have been quoted in error. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and unless specifically stated are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. Woods Interiors Ltd is a registered company for UK VAT purposes.
Payment
Payment is accepted in pounds sterling by most major credit or debit cards as detailed on our web site at time of order.
Payment Security
All credit card payments made during on-line transactions are handled on our behalf by either Stripe or PayPal’s secure payment gateways and utilise secure encryption. No credit card details are processed or stored at any time on Woods & Co's web site.
Delivery
We utilise either the Royal Mail or, for larger items, UPS to deliver orders within the UK. Outside of the UK other couriers may be used.
Promotions and Coupons
All promotions and associated codes and coupons are distributed in good faith and are subject to terms and conditions. Discount coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or special discounts. Woods & Co reserves the right to refuse the use of any or all promotions, discounts and coupons for orders placed online or over the telephone.
Risk
Delivery is ex-works, and risk passes to the customer on delivery.
Returns
Fabrics cannot be returned after you have ordered them, unless they are defective.
Retention of Title
Whether or not delivery has been made, property in the goods does not pass from the company to the customer until full payment is received.
Specifications and Information
Goods are supplied subject to the company’s standard specifications and, unless specifically agreed to the contrary, may be manufactured by any of our approved vendors. While we endeavour to publish and supply as much product and application data as possible, the company is unable to assess the viability of every possible application of the goods: It is the customer’s duty to ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the application in which they intend to use them. We endeavour to ensure that all published information is correct but the company shall not be under any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as a result of any error or omission in any information either published by or supplied by the company. Please note that exact colours and finishes are difficult to reproduce accurately on web sites and printed materials and that customers should not place undue reliance upon such reproductions.
Product Variations and Use
Woods & Co will make every effort to ensure that the products we supply through our website correspond as closely as possible to those shown on the website but cannot guarantee that they will be exactly the same. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variations in fabrics or products. Colours may vary from those depicted depending on the settings of your monitor, software or printer. All measurements are approximate. The technical specification of products may change due to availability of raw materials and we reserve the right to make such changes as and when necessary. Our fabrics are made from natural products and may thus have natural characteristics such as slubs and other irregularities in the yarns which are not weaving faults. Fabrics and wallpapers may have slight colour variations between batches. We cannot guarantee that separate orders for the same fabric or wallpaper will be supplied from the same batch.
All our products are designed for domestic use only unless explicitly noted. Commercial use of any fabrics and/or linings in the UK may require fire retarded products, outside of the UK please consult your relevent authorities. Complaints
We aim to deal with any complaints in a fair and timely manner. Any complaints should be addressed in writing to the company at the published address or via the web site contact form.
Indemnity
Customers and other users of this web site agree to indemnify the company against any claims, direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as a direct or indirect result of the use of this web site and any information or computer software contained therein or by your access to other web sites as a result of links from this site. We make every effort to ensure that this web site does not contain any computer viruses but cannot guarantee this or warrant that it is virus-free.
Law
Any dispute arising out of, or in connection with, any contract between the company and the buyer shall be governed by English Law and the buyer accepts the jurisdiction of the English courts.
